In 2000, Beverly decided to pursue her own art as a professional
outside the educational field and built Sky Farm Studio. The
facility, becoming operational in 2001, includes studio and
classroom space. Being an art teacher for students ages 12
through 21, Beverly works in a variety of mediums including
pencil, ink, batik, clay, and oil but professionally has focused
exclusively in pastel for the last four years.

Beverly has taken the opportunity to study with Bev Lee, Sara
Oakley, and Freya Hite. She has also attended workshops
presented by Lorenzo Chavez and Doug Dawson.
